Taproot offers pediatric group-based therapeutic outdoor programming. Services are provided in blocks, which include 6 weeks of group-based sessions. Our services may be appropriate for your child. We determine suitability through the registration process.

No. We do not direct-bill. We can provide detailed receipt of services to clients for self-submission.

If your insurance has Occupational Therapy coverage included, our therapeutic programming should be covered, but it is best to check with your insurance provider.

We are located at 9 Dawe’s Lane in Flatrock, NL.

There are two dogs that remain indoors during therapeutic sessions. Taproot has a hive of honeybees that love to explore the flowers on the property.
Pediatric Therapy Groups

Our how-to register page breaks down the steps for registering for our nature-based therapy groups.
We carry a waitlist for services. If there is not a space available for your child when you register, they will be placed on the waitlist.

Weekly therapy sessions are 90 minutes in length, unless otherwise communicated.

All sessions take place outdoors so your child should come prepared with weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, as well as a hat and sunscreen. A change of clothes can be packed in your child’s bag. Children should also bring water and a snack.

Yes. Bookings are viewable through our Jane platform when you sign in to your account.

A caregiver is required to stay on site during our pediatric group sessions.

Yes—please park in the driveway at our location. Please do not park on the road.
